Join The Final Search for Charles Horvath Allan

“I will search for Charles as long as I can stand, walk and talk as long as I live," mother, Denise Horvath Allan once told the press.

20-year-old Charles Horvath Allan disappeared from a campsite in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada in 1989. His mother, Denise, has searched for her only son relentlessly ever since; visiting Canada from her native England 15 times.

Now 73, Denise’s health is declining, and she is making a plan for what could be her final attempt to find out what happened to Charles and bring him home.

Denise has secured the support of a pro bono missing person media agency, Recover, and is appealing to the public for $2,500 to cover the following costs:

  • An updated age progression sketch by Forensic Artist Tim Widden
  • To set up and maintain an independent tip line
  • To print and distribute an updated poster across North America
  • Expenses for volunteer investigators to travel to Kelowna and conduct interviews

"Time's running out for me," she said. "I would just like to have peace in what's left of my life."
