An Angel's Fight Against CNS
Donation protected
Hello Friends!
My name is Mead, and I have the luxury of having one of the best nephews I could ask for. In June of this year, JJ and his wife welcomed the birth of a beautiful baby girl, Juliet, who'd soon begin her fight against Congenital Nephrotic Syndrome.
CNS, an inherited disorder characterized by protein in the urine and swelling of the body, develops shortly after birth. The condition commonly results in infection, malnutrition and kidney failure. It can often lead to death by five years of age.
Juliet has endured a heavy regiment of port meds. However, her abdominal swelling persists. Juliet's doctors decided it would be best to remove both kidneys in January. This means she'll need dialysis daily until she gains enough weight to receive a transplant.
God has a plan. JJ and his family are strong, optimistic and faithful. However, the increasing medical expenses create a burden most families aren't prepared for. And the insurance deductible resets in January exacerbate the challenge. Since Juliet can't attend daycare, her family is surviving on one income.
I firmly believe our family's little angel will make it through. But she'll need some help. So I'm asking for your support. Juliet will benefit from every dollar she receives. And I thank you in advance for your consideration and generosity, dear friend!
Grateful,
Mead
