The Fernie Family

The sudden passing of Brent, a devoted husband and dedicated father, has left his family facing a significant loss. Brent cherished his wife, Carlene, and each of his six children deeply, and dedicated his life to his family.

Brent was not only a passionate leader as Captain at the London Fire Department, but also a loyal coach in the Komoka community. His unexpected departure has left a profound void in the hearts of all who were touched by his kindness, leadership, and unwavering support. He will be forever missed by everyone fortunate enough to have known him.

The emotional and financial burden of losing a father in the prime of his life is beyond comprehension. This fundraiser is a heartfelt effort to help ease some of that financial strain. Any donation, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated.

This fundraiser was created on behalf of Carlene Fernie, the wife of Brent Fernie, who passed away unexpectedly on May 21st, 2025.

My name is Julia Dolphin, and I am Carlene's neighbour and friend. I created this fundraiser to support Carlene and her six children - Braeden, Eden, Jack, Isla, Ava and Elle - during this incredibly difficult time.

The donations will be personally deposited into Carlene's bank account to assist with mortgage payments, day-to-day living expenses, and care for the children.
