The Family of Marquis Joel Baxter

Marquis Joel Baxter, loving son, dedicated brother, doating father, caring mate, and super nephew, cousin, grandson, and friend to many. His light was dimmed in the early morning hours of October 29, 2023, and is a great loss to all who knew him. Marquis loved to be around family. His smile beamed continuously when his children, Jamari, Marquis Jr., and Malaya were around. He had a strong work ethic and was commitment to providing for his family. He worked hard to make sure they had everything they needed and wanted. His passion was tinting and wrapping vehicles, taking people out of that fish bowl life that flourished and provided many lasting connections with his community and dedicated words of mouth. His plans to further support his children was cut short that fatal morning. It’s heartbreaking to know that we will never see the full extent of his plans for his life and children. His children will not get the chance to experience the continued love of a father physically being there for them every step of the way. We are trusting God to carry us through this process. By donating we will be able to create a fund to support the ones he left behind.
