The family of Kristen Nelson

Hi! I'm Isabella, Kristen's oldest daughter. My mom unexpectedly passed away Wednesday, May 10th. She passed away from complications with her medications. We have lost everything, our house, our childhood, our mother.

I (18) have two siblings; Xander (16) and River (14). My father was never in the picture. He was in prison until 2011, when he committed suicide. Their father gave up any rights he had to them, and hadn't seen them in over ten years. Since our mom passing away, they have moved in with our Nana. I had to get an apartment. Unfortunately with everything happening I lost my job not too long after. Having to care for everyone and try to heal and keep pace with life really put a struggle on myself and my roommates. Every single cent so far from this account has been used to either buy groceries for the time I was taking care of my siblings, and the rest was used for a deposit on an apartment. We are dirt broke and I wanted to give this another shot.

This wasn't what my life was suppose to become. I wasn't suppose to become an orphan before I even turned 19. My mom was suppose to watch me walk down the isle, and I was suppose to be able to call her for all the stupid questions I'd have living alone. She was suppose to be here for all my firsts. I finally healed from never having fatherly love, but this is a whole new level of pain. Nothing seems right anymore.

I don't have or make enough to care for myself as well as four animals and two other people. I need help surviving. It's been nearly five months and we've just been scraping by with whatever loose change we find. Anything helps, even just sharing this.
