More information about Sands (Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Society): Sands supports anyone affected by the death of a baby, works in partnership with health professionals to try to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care and funds research that could help to reduce the numbers of babies dying and families devastated by this tragedy.

My name is Adam and last year my wife and I lost our daughter Marlow Jay Rowan on 7th March 2024. Baby loss is something that changes your life forever but during our hardest days Sands was there providing all the right support to make the days a little more bearable. My work colleagues have been a massive support to me and they have came together and suggested that we run a half marathon to raise money for a charity that is unfortunately needed everyday for heartbroken families like ours.
