Shane and I are adopting!

Ephesians 1:5:
God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure.

Our hearts have longed for a child. Over eleven years, we have had several miscarriages and struggled with infertility. We have prayed and pledged our faithfulness to the Lord Almighty. We have asked God for His will to be done. We have prayed, asking God for guidance. God has led our hearts to adoption.

There are children out there that He has created us to parent, and He has prepared us to love and teach them about the Lord who adopted us. We pray for the birth parents and our child. God knows our hearts. We will continue to act in obedience and faith pursuing adoption.

Adoption can be very expensive with attorney fees, agency expenses, and medical costs. We believe God will provide the finances. We are asking you to be a part of our journey. We ask, first and foremost, for you to pray with us and secondarily, if God so leads, to support us financially in meeting the cost of this adoption. We don’t know when our family will be together but we know that we are being obedient in preparing to welcome our child home. We long for the day when God will join our family together.
