Hi, my name is Marthe and I created a small non profit in my country of Cameroon and named it after my beloved father who passed away on January 2025.
My father was a teacher and always had it in his heart to encourage children to go to school. He believed that going to school was a way to develop oneself and get out of poverty. Now that is no longer physically with us, I've decided to carry his mantle.
My village is located in Batouri, Cameroon. Cameroon is a small country in Central Africa. I have seen many children there that are highly intelligent but do not have means to continue education and complete the most basic levels. I can generally tell their intelligence by the way they speak or the games they create with things like used slippers and bamboo sticks.
I am living in Canada right now, but I have created the Fondation Emmanuel Bonde that operates in Cameroon. Please check it here: Fondation Emmanuel Bonde
100% of the funds donated will go towards a scholarship, called "Espoir" (hope in French) to take middle school children through high school. By the grace of God, we may even take some through the first university degree.
