The Elora Swan Program - In memory of Brian Gibbon

In lieu of flowers, we know Brian would appreciate a donation to an initiative near and dear to his heart - The Elora Swan Program. For over 14 years Brian has been a volunteer and in more recent years, a co-coordinator. The program has been in existence for 30+ years and is run solely by volunteers and on donations from the community.

Each winter, the volunteers take responsibility for the care of the swans who enjoy the local waters over the spring, summer and fall months including the Grand River in Elora, the Wellington Terrace long-term care home in Aboyne, Millage Pond in Fergus and the Irvine River in Salem.
