Old Redcliffians and Rugby Against Cancer are collaborating to honour our dear fiend Ellis, who sadly passed away on the 7th February 2025 after a courageous battle with leukaemia.

Throughout 2024 the rugby community came together to support the #TryForEllis campaign which seen 1000's of people sign up to the stem cell register along with raising awareness of blood cancer and the wonderful work charities like Anthony Nolan and ACLT do. It is important that this work continues and the message is clear... as a rugby community we stand together AGAINST CANCER!

On Sunday 31st August Old Redcliffians will be hosting a huge charity event which will see not just one game, but two huge games!

However, to make this event a reality we need YOUR SUPPORT. The event will come with running costs and your donations will go towards amenities and marquee hire, food vendors and music and entertainment. The event will create important funds for charities such as Rugby Against Cancer, Anthony Nolan and ACLT. We are also seeking businesses to sponsor the event.

Any funds that are raised and not used to pay for the above will be donated to the aforementioned charities.
