The Elevate Brooklyn Scholarship was created by two best friends, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, who beat the odds together. From elementary to middle school and then high schools just blocks apart, their journeys eventually took them over 900 miles away from each other as they pursued higher education at their respective HBCUs. Through this scholarship, they hope to support and uplift students facing similar challenges. The Elevate Brooklyn Scholarship will award $1,000 to a high school senior preparing for college or a current college student seeking support to stay enrolled.
