The Domestic Violence Survivors (DVS) Project
The Domestic Violence Survivors (DVS) Project is being established to holistically support and empower victims of Domestic Violence. We are currently working on the 4 elements of the project:
- Escaping Safely
- Staying Safe
- Healing
- New Beginnings
For more information on the project head to https://www.dvs-project.com/
Funding will support the website build on which a lot of our resources will be provided as well as the establishment of the self-defence course which is being purposefully designed for the DVS Project. This program will be offered FREE to Domestic Violence victims. The funding will support the establishment of the course, equipment needed and a location for the course to be delivered. The course will begin in Sydney, NSW then expand Australia wide. Appropriate elements of the course will be aired in online videos for immediate access.
Alongside these goals, we will be conducting our own research to uncover the true statistics of domestic violence in Australia that affects both men and women.
We truely appreciate your support and look forward to going a few steps further in helping victims of Domestic Violence.
