Hello, amazing friends and family!

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our adoption page! As many of you know, we've been on quite a journey towards starting our family. Since our wedding in 2016, we've dreamed of what our family would be like and the home we've wanted to build together. It’s been life-giving to hope; it’s been heartbreaking to feel the despair of lost opportunities and seemingly endless waiting.

For us, one of the next right steps in this journey was pursuing private adoption. We started working with a local Indianapolis agency that we absolutely love in early 2022. Since then, we’ve been continuing to prepare (both our house and our hearts) for the potential day when we welcome a little one into our lives forever.

Well….it might be that day soon! We were chosen by a birth mother in Pennsylvania and are feeling very honored and humbled to be invited into raising her child. And, it might be VERY soon - she is due in early January.

We believe with all our being that the cliche of “it takes a village” is true. This remains as true as it was on our wedding day (hottest day in the century), as it was renovating our house, as it was when we welcomed our first foster girls, and as we hope to continue to live in the future. You are our people, our family, a part of our village.

Thanks for considering supporting us financially. These funds go toward legal costs, agency fees, providing support to the expectant mother, travel expenses, etc. We know that every penny will be worth it when we welcome the little one home.

We are GRATEFUL for your role in our life and the many, many ways that you have been in it with us - here’s to the next season of this journey and continued life together!
