Hi, my name is Baylee, and these are my two brothers, Logan and Noah. Noah has Down syndrome and autism, and is 8. My other brother is 19. This isn’t something we are good at nor do we want to be, but asking for help seems appropriate at this time.
My mother, Tascha, who is 50, has fallen very ill due to what they think is a horrible blood infection. She has currently been put on the ventilator and is fighting so hard to get better and stay alive. She has pneumonia, and her organs are struggling. The doctors are working so hard on her, and that is relieving. However, my mom did not work much before she went to the hospital due to her being so sick. She left the bills quite a mess. My dad and her aren’t together, but he just got laid off as well. So needless to say, my mom not being home has not only been hard on us as a family, but it is taking a toll on the house financially.
My two brothers are the ones who live with her, so I decided to make this on their behalf. The goal isn’t meant to be met, but I wanted to get this out there in hopes that we could raise funds for my brothers to stay good on groceries, and be able to make the bills work. We are currently in the process of temporary disability, and my dad is looking for a job, but it is a really slow process. We’re all just trying to navigate this without my mom, and it is hard. She is our glue; she holds us together. If there is any way you can help, me, my brothers, my dad, and especially my mother will forever be grateful.
