I have created this go fund me for my sister and her family. My brother-in-law is an incredibly talented entrepreneur.

On the morning of July 17, 2025, a fire broke out in the structure of a local family of three, Keuris (Kris), Alison, and Braelyn Disla, destroying Kris's carpentry workshop, Disla Designs.

While the family is thankfully safe, the inside of the workshop on their property was completely destroyed by the fire. The fire wiped out the tools, wood, and years of hard work that Kris relied on to help provide for his family.

Kris, a self-taught talented and dedicated carpenter, has always taken great pride in his work—crafting everything from custom furniture to cabinetry and more. This workshop wasn’t just a place to work; it was the heart of their livelihood, the foundation of their family’s income, and a dream he built from the ground up when moving here from the Dominican Republic.

While the house itself remains intact, the fire has left the family without his source of income, and the Disla's are now facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding his business from scratch.

We’re reaching out for help to support their family while Kris is unable to work after this sudden loss of income.
