I am walking across America!
Delaware to California, 6,800 miles, from sea to shining sea along the American Discovery Trail.
My goal is to share the nature, history, culture, and stories that shape and define America. In a time when the beauty of diversity, both natural and human, are being questioned and attacked, it's important to remember that we are all connected through the Earth and share the same goal of love and acceptance.
As I walk The American Discovery Trail, I will be raising funds for a variety of organizations that are rooted in my basic mission - to help preserve and protect the people, lands, and cultures that make America home.
- 20% National Immigration Project "...a membership organization of attorneys, advocates, and community members....We litigate, advocate, educate, and build bridges across movements to ensure that those who are impacted by our immigration and criminal legal systems are uplifted and supported."
- 15% Trust for Public Land "We work with communities to create parks and protect public land where they’re needed most, as a matter of health, equity, and justice"
- 15% National Parks Conservation Association "For more than 100 years, we have been fearless and outspoken defenders of America’s national parks ― the people’s parks ― your parks."
- 15% Association on American Indian Affairs "The Association on American Indian Affairs is the oldest national Native non-profit protecting sovereignty, preserving culture, educating youth, and building capacity."
- 15% First Nations Development Institute "Our mission is to uplift and sustain the lifeways and economies of Native communities through advocacy, financial support, and knowledge sharing."
- 5% American Discovery Trail Society "The American Discovery Trail Society is the steward of a new breed of national trail — part urban, part small town, part forest, part mountains, part desert — all in one trail."
- 15% Help Fund My Walk
