The Dignity Girls: Help Build Their Nairobi Dignity Center
Tax deductible
We are raising funds for the construction of The Dignity Center to provide a safe home for trafficked teen moms just outside of Nairobi, Kenya. My name is Chase Carlton and I am a rising senior in high school. My mom, Katie Koestner, went to Kenya in 2023 to learn more about what could be done to support these young survivors and their babies. Katie was on the cover of TIME Magazine at age 18 as the first victim of "date" rape to speak out nationally and publicly.
Economic freedom would enable the girls to go to school and provide child care for their babies. We created a shop called "The Dignity Girls," so they can sell their handmade bracelets and other items establishing a sustainable business. For now, it is housed here, until we make a full Ebay shop.
Your donation helps build the Dignity Center, where they can live free from sexual exploitation and run their shop.
Help these girls not just survive but thrive!
Meet some of the girls.
