Dave was diagnosed with metastatic esophageal cancer in November, just a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, because of a complicated health history, Dave's body did not allow what his mind wanted, which was to fight the cancer. This past Saturday, the decision was made to focus on comfort care, and Dave was placed on hospice. As you can imagine, this has been a struggle for Karin, David and Kallista.

Dave celebrated his 60th birthday just days after receiving this diagnosis. His plans of growing old with Karin, supporting the kids in their catholic education, and watching both David and Kallista play hockey have been halted. Many of you have asked what you can do, how can you help. We have created this GoFundMe page to help Karin fulfill some of these dreams for his children.
