The mission of The Currahee Project is to be a voice for all Veterans
Specifically, we will bring a greater awareness to the Veteran Suicide Epidemic. Through targeting at risk Veteran populations, it will be possible to get at risk Veterans the support they are in need of.
We as an organization believe that Veteran Homelessness can be fixed. There are several national models that have been extremely successful and can be implemented locally. We will work together with local nonprofits to not only get our Warriors off the street. But also, these brave men and women will be reintegrated into the community with counseling, life skills training and work skills training that will allow for a total self-sustaining existence. We are all stronger and well informed as a collective body working together towards a common goal.
