Uncertainty is everywhere — in our economy, our politics, and our future. But while others debate who’s to blame, we choose to do something.

Peace Peloton builds thriving local economies by moving dollars directly into the hands of new founders and emerging entrepreneurs through our programs like the Columbia City Night Market, Rooted-Growth Accelerator, and Fresh Air — together supporting more than 200 emerging businesses so far in 2025.

That work comes with real costs. Recently, we paid $184.15 in import tariffs for program supplies — money that could have helped several entrepreneurs get their business licenses or covered a vendor’s insurance for a month. But instead of passing that burden along, we absorbed it. Because doing the right thing shouldn’t come at someone else’s expense.

That’s what community looks like. And now, we’re inviting you to help keep this movement in motion.

Harmony Hustle , our annual fundraiser, happens Friday, November 7th. It’s one of the ways we fund the programs that keep emerging businesses moving, communities thriving, and local economies growing.
