The Community Curry: Feeding Perth Together

Hi everyone,

My name is Agi, and I recently started something I call The Community Curry. With just $45.85, I was able to cook 22 hot meals of rice and curry and hand them out in Perth with the help of some friends.

This started as a small act of care — but it showed me how much we can do when we come together. A hot meal might seem simple, but for someone doing it tough on the streets, it can mean warmth, dignity, and connection.

I want to keep cooking and handing out meals regularly, but I can’t do it alone. That’s why I’ve started this fundraiser. Every dollar will go directly into:

• Buying groceries, rice, and curry ingredients

• Takeaway containers for packing meals

• Expanding how many people we can reach each week

Here’s the impact so far:

• $45 fed 22 people.

• With $100, we could easily double that.

• With $200, we could provide hot meals for 80–100 people.

This isn’t about charity — it’s about community care. Small acts of kindness add up to big change when we do them together.
