We are THE COMMUNITY CHARITY SHOP and we need your help to purchase this building – READ ON


HISTORY:

KANDOS,  New South Wales supplied the cement that built the SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE and many of the SKYSCRAPERS in the Sydney CBD from the 1920’s to the 1970’s. 



In 2011 Kandos Cement closed down on their 99th year!  Many high income families were forced to leave our town. 

THE COMMUNITY CHARITY SHOP opened in 2013. 

Why is the community charity shop essential to Kandos?

·       Gives our community the opportunity to recycle unwanted goods.

·       Resells the donated goods through THE COMMUNITY CHARITY SHOP at great prices.

·       Donates all profits to local groups (in 8 years $487,398.00)

·       Provide an opportunity for our fantastic volunteers to give their time to the community. 

·       We are here to serve Kandos/Rylstone and the surrounding areas.

THE COMMUNITY CHARITY SHOP AT KANDOS NEEDS YOUR HELP

Our beautiful, functional building is UP FOR SALE. 

We are $60,000 short of being able to purchase the building.

For 6 years we have been raising funds to purchase the shop and have $90,000 for a deposit PLUS a loan in principal from the bank.  This amount is not sufficient!

OUR NEED IS URGENT AS THE PROPERTY IS ALREADY ON THE MARKET
