On January 22, our community was impacted by floods. Due to this nature disaster our community lost houses, cars, pets, and etc. Not only did they lose material things but a lot of them lost faith in the system. They were angry, disappointed, and in shock in how the city could have let this happen. In that crucial time a few neighbors, that were not as affected, came together to help to bring a little bit of comfort to families . We have provided the community with hot meals, personal products, and cleaning supplies. It’s been more than a month and it’s slowly getting harder to do this on our own. We are asking for help so we can continue to provide things they needs.
