Cleveland Scrappers vs CWRU Police Department

Tax deductible
Take me out to the Beep baseball game!

What: A baseball game between blind athletes and blindfolded police officers.

When: September 3, 2023 at 10:00 am

Where: Case Western Reserve University
Van Horn Field
2158 Adelbert Road, Cleveland, OH 44106

Spectators are encouraged to bring chairs or a blanket.

The Cleveland Scrappers are a team of visually impaired athletes who play an adaptive version of baseball. It is called beep baseball because the ball emits an audible tone that enables blind players to hit and field.

We as a community are fortunate to have the only beep baseball team in Ohio and they're located right here in Cleveland! Being the only team in town has its disadvantages, as all games are played out of state.

Traveling can get expensive and the Case Western Reserve University Police Department would like to help raise money to offset some of their costs. The goal is to get the Scrappers to the 2024 National Beep Baseball World Series in St. Charles, Missouri!

We hope to see you at the game where we will be selling snacks and refreshments. Enter to win the gift basket raffle! All proceeds go directly to the Scrappers.

Thank you and please consider donating to this worthy and truly humbling cause.
