The Church at Mt. Carmel Needs Your Help

Please help us assist others as they help neighborhood kids.

On the heels of the March 3, 2020, tornado in Nashville, Mt. Carmel Baptist Church continues to be of service to the community while dealing with the restoration of their building.  WTVF recently aired a segment about Mt. Carmel Baptist providing space during the day for children attending online classes while their parents work.

The small sanctuary has been turned into a classroom for most ages, with younger non-online children in another room.  Space to learn and supervision are being provided but meals, snacks, and drinks for these under privileged children, who are normally provided breakfast and lunch by the school system, are straining meager pocketbooks.

Since the segment aired, many kind-hearted people have donated food and other necessities such as a water cooler, vacuum, fans, and a freezer.  However, new challenges have surfaced:

- shed rental and shelving are needed to store donations, educational, and recreational goods; and

- the utility bills and use of paper goods have skyrocketed with daily use of the church building.

Leaders of the Church are busy daily serving these families, and your help would be appreciated so we can help them fund the necessities they need to do so.  Would you please donate today?
