Who this will help
Hi, we're doing this fundraiser to help get money for The Christmas Giving Tree by Black Friday. The giving trees are the ones that you see in stores and banks with peoples names that could use some support for the holidays. We also have to deliver all the gifts, wrapped, usually before the second week of December so there's no time to waste!
Why I'm fundraising
Every year my mother and I use what funds we can to buy presents for people on The Christmas Giving Trees that you see set up in banks and stores with the wishes of those in unfortunate situations (the homeless, single parents, elderly care facilities, etc..). Once all the gifts are baught we bring them home and wrap everything! Once wrapped we then deliver them to our local Exchange Bank with the help of Santa (aka my dad). Between the two of us there is only so much we can do with our limited funds, but we are hopeful that with everyones support we might be able to afford to help even more people.
The impact of your support
These donations will go to help my mom and I shop for more people off The Giving Tree. We try to get both gifts off of their wish lists but for some we just can't afford that and unfortunately have to leave names behind.
These donations would mean we could shop for so many more people than we can on our own. Any help in this matter would be wonderful so we can get as many gifts off the tree as possible.
PS. I also made a Facebook page called "Christmas Giving Tree" to post snippets of our day from picking out names from the Giving Tree to the shopping and wrapping all the way to the delivery at out local Exchange bank, with Santa's help of course!
