My name is Zack Chancellor and I am trying to help raise funds to help support my brothers family after his recent death. The money raised will go towards the unforeseen expenses that come along with a sudden and unexpected death.

 

James Chancellor, a husband, father, friend, and a IBEW lineman, has passed away. James was an amazing man that loved his family and friends deeply. He had a passion for his craft as a lineman and always was his brother's keeper at work. He came up through the CalNev JATC at Gridley Power and joined the union in 2003. In 2014, James wanted to expand his service territory and left the utility to take callouts for the IBEW 1245 contractors. He served a few different companies in the following years but ended his career at PAR electrical contractors.

 

He leaves behind a wife, two daughters (9 & 14), a son (13), as well as many beloved family and friends.

 

This fund is to help his family with their needs during this trying time. I’ve explained to his family that this isn’t a handout, it's just what the brotherhood should do to look out for one another’s families. James was a hard worker, I hope we can show our appreciation for all the time spent on the line keeping the power on and rally around his family while he watches over us all. James was a man that would always answer the call to need; do what you feel in your heart, as I know he would.
