On April 28, Go Akpan reached a beautiful milestone.

At our official launch in Lagos, Nigeria, I had the joy of reading and spending time with incredible children alongside the teams from NABU and TotalEnergies Nigeria. Together, we celebrated more than a book, we celebrated the power of children seeing themselves reflected in stories and language.

Today, Go Akpan is officially published in Nigeria in both English and Ibibio, the language of my fatherland.

But this is only the beginning.

Together with NABU, our mission is to bring Go Akpan to even more children across Nigeria by translating, printing, and distributing the book in Hausa, Igbo, and Yoruba.
