The Castle of Nerds!
You wanted a castle, I’ll build you a castle!!
the overwhelming excitement and support from the fans and followers of TikTok is more than I ever expected! A land far away from judging eyes and ney-sayers, where “nerds” of a feather can gather to express themselves and live out their innermost fantasies.
With sprawling forested courtyards, great stone walls, warm feast halls and cozy bunkhouses, this castle will be the perfect location for immersive gaming, role playing, and hosting grand events. When not I’m use for events, the castle will be a one of a kind bed and breakfast, open year round for the weary traveler.
the castle will be open to any artist or craftsman looking for a unique spot to create and teach their craft to others. A massive forge for the smiths, expansive kitchens, galleries, and workshops alike.
Every kid built forts on the woods and imagined themselves inside a castle, ready to take on any dragon or foe that may be lurking around the next dungeon wall. Well, let’s live that fantasy and BUILD A FREAKIN CASTLE!
We are prepared to completely pour ourselves into this project. What money we have left from rebuilding the forge is going directly into this as well. Both myself and my partner have been talking about creating this type of space for likeminded people since we met and we are ready to commit ourselves to this dream.
The first thing we need to do in this monstrous challenge is to purchase the kingdom. For a castle large enough to host gatherings and whatnot at the level we had at the old forge, we’re going to need a minimum of 5 acres of undeveloped land in North Carolina. Obviously the more land we can get, the better. So we’re setting the goal at 50,000, basing the current cost of land in the area.
Building materials and the costs will addressed once the land of purchased. Any funds that are raised that exceed the cost of the land, will of course be put towards the building costs.
Once the land is purchased, we will need all the help of we can possibly get! Any skills that can be donated to the castle will be greatly appreciated! And of course materials and such will be crucial as well, but we’ll get to that point!
