The bright futures of Vanessa Allen's children.
Donation protected
On the dark day of July 17th 2022, two young girls, aged 7 and 14, lost their mother. Vanessa Allen lived a difficult and tumultuous life. This is due to a depression and anxiety that many of us have experienced during our own trials and tribulations in this world. Unlike the majority of us, Vanessa also dealt with chronic knee pain from a torn ligament during her teenage years. This injury was the cause of numerous surgeries and continuous problems. Due to the depression, anxiety, and physical pain, Vanessa had been prescribed countless pharmaceutical painkillers, anti-depressants, and anti-anxiety medications. The use of these prescriptions inevitably caused her to supplement such treatments with other substances.
At this moment, the exact cause of death is yet to be determined as we await toxicology results. However, it is undoubtedly an accidental drug overdose (substance as of yet undetermined) that took, prematurely, the life of Vanessa Allen (41). Perhaps this truth will cause others to stop flirting with death through the action of self-medicating. We hope that others touched by Vanessa... others who share in her struggle, make a decision regardless of what it takes. Regardless of how difficult, decide to become open and honest with their loved ones. decide to accept assistance in order to break the chains of addiction to benzodiazepines, opioids, and all other substances that one may use as a crutch to get through a difficult life.
Vanessa Allen left behind two sweet, kind, and beautiful children, Graciella (14), and Carmella (7). These GoFundMe donations will be used for various expenses. Including, but not limited to, Grief counseling and therapy, medical and dental expenses, future summer camps and babysitters, life enrichment expenses such as vacations to reward good behavior. Last, and most importantly, future college and first vehicle funds.
Every dollar received will be solely towards the well-being and happiness of Vanessa’s daughters. We hope to become blessed enough to reach our goal of 17,001 dollars. Every proceed in excess of this amount will be donated to the drug abuse foundation (DAF) to help any other mothers or fathers who need to escape the deadly grip of drug addiction. The same grip of addiction that many of you know all too well, is an absolute epidemic of the worst kind, ravaging our area of Florida.
Thank you for your time, consideration, and donation,
Graciously,
Edward Allen, Teresa Salvemini, and most importantly, Grace and Carmella.
