Developing Future Leaders - The Boys’ Brigade Qld

Donation protected
We are reaching out to all Boys’ Brigaders, Parents and Churches past and present to give back to this wonderful ministry.

By the time companies meet back for 2024, this 96.5 advertising will have reached over 150,000 people, to hear that BB is still going strong guiding the next generation of youth.
Why we need this?
When I or anyone shares the story of Boys’ Brigade, we often get the response, "Does Boys’ Brigade still exist?" In response to this, Boys’ Brigade QLD is launching an exciting Radio campaign through 96five family radio and other regional radio stations. This is to reaffirm our presence in the community and emphasise that Boys’ Brigade is more relevant today than ever. The 'Developing Future Leaders' campaign kicks off on January 15th.

This campaign serves two primary objectives. Firstly, we aim to generate inquiries from parents, encouraging an increase in the number of boys participating in brigades, not only in and around Brisbane but also in regional QLD. Secondly, we seek to present churches with an enticing leadership strategy to establish new brigades.

The creative approach is deliberate:

For Parents:
Every parent desires the best for their son, fostering growth into a well-adjusted adult. The campaign's creative elements illustrate the journey from a young boy, showcasing that through the guidance and mentorship provided in Boys’ Brigade, they will develop leadership qualities carried into adulthood. The intention is to inspire the listener, typically a father, or more commonly a mother in their 30s or 40s, who can identify the need in their family, with Boys’ Brigade emerging as the solution.

For Churches:
This campaign will spotlight to church leaders the strength of adopting a 'reliable and proven' strategy by incorporating a Boys’ Brigade leadership culture in their church. The strategic targeting includes frequent messaging on Sundays during traditional Christian programming, particularly during our flagship 'Sunday Celebration' show followed by 'Family Worship,' coinciding with the times when many church leaders are commuting to and from Sunday services.
