On Friday, October 3rd, our father was involved in a car accident and was taken to the hospital. He sustained three fractures in his hip and has been placed on strict bed rest for the next eight weeks to allow his bones to heal. Thankfully, the fractures do not require surgery — just time, rest, and care.

During this recovery period, he will be unable to work. As the main provider for our household, this has placed a heavy emotional and financial burden on our family.
