Our Mission

We're raising funds to turn a van, lovingly named The Blooming Space, into a mobile wellness sanctuary offering physical, mental and emotional rejuvenation to Los Angeles, after the devastating wildfires.

What We’ll Offer

The Blooming Space will spread a little healing love wherever it goes. Our methodology is based on Ayurveda, the ancient science of longevity, healing and rejuvenation.

Free & Donation-based services will include:

• Face and hand massages

• Aromatherapy

• Breathwork coaching

• Herbal wellness support

• Tapping (EFT – Emotional Freedom Technique) to process and support emotional well-being

What We'll Use Funds for

• Used Ram 1500 Promaster cargo van (or similar)

• Generator or Battery pack

• Wifi

• Decal/Wrap: As a symbol of inspiration on wheels

• Interior: Sound deadening materials, very minor fit-out.

• Supplies: Single induction burner (to heat water), dark-colored washcloths (lots), rug, 2 single inflatable mattresses, meditation cushions, essential oils

Our Timeline

Currently sourcing for the van. Within the next 4-5 weeks, we’ll set it up, and as soon as fire conditions resolve, we’ll begin our journey into LA.

About The Creator

Monica Bloom is an Ayurvedic author and teacher since 2008, creator of heymonicab.com: A Blooming Resource on Ayurveda. Her life mission is, "I am building Ayurveda for the people."

When the fires hit Los Angeles, her mission became timely and more critical. A moving wellness van was her logical, loving solution.

Business-wise Monica has sold over 70k books and has taught mental resilience & wellbeing in the workplace for clients including: Aquent, Deloitte, Netflix, Genentech, Serious Leisure, Hornblower Cruises, Airbnb. Now she's putting all her knowledge and resources into this project to help support and uplift the People of LA.
