Hi everyone! My name is Nia, and I’m the owner and baker behind Baked With Joi.

I believe every child deserves to feel special on their birthday — to laugh, to be celebrated, and yes, to have a slice of cake made just for them.

With recent EBT benefit cuts, many families in our community are struggling to cover even basic needs. For some, that means birthdays — something meant to be filled with joy — have become just another reminder of what’s missing.

That’s why I’ve partnered with Community Life Development Center to launch the “Birthday Cake Project” — an initiative that provides free custom birthday cakes to children whose families are facing financial hardship.

Your donation will directly supports the cost of:

• Fresh ingredients (flour, sugar, butter, eggs, etc.)

• Decorations, boxes, and packaging

• Delivery to families in need

Your support means more than just cake — it’s hope, kindness, and community all baked together.
