Hi,

You've found your way to the rider support Go Fund Me for "The Big Swiss Ride" charity fundraiser in aid of the charity "MANUP?", we challenged ourselves to cycle from Gilmorton in Southern Leicestershire to Grindelwald in the shadow of the Eiger mountain in the Bernese Oberland.

Our challenge: a small group of average blokes of varying abilities and levels of fitness are taking on 9 days of riding to and in, the Swiss Alps, 1400km to be covered, over 15000m to be climbed which is more than 11 times the height of Ben Nevis, nearly twice the height of Everest!

The charity fundraiser is on a separate link, this is purely for anyone that would like to support the riders kit and accommodation costs.

Unlike professionally organised charity rides who need to recoup costs first and only then support the charity, the riders have all decided to cover the cost of the ride themselves so that the charity gets all of the funds raised. We are riding unsupported through the UK & France for the first 6 days to reduce costs further and the support vehicle which comes out on day 6 is also coming at the cost of the driver and crew.
