This year I will be taking part in this wonderful event where I will walk 2021km, in 2021, trying to raise £2021. I know first hand what Huntington’s is like and what it does to families as it runs in mine, I have it myself. I was tested in November 2019 and since then have looked for ways to not only accept my results but give back to help others. When I saw this event I thought to myself this is it, this is how I get involved, I can walk.

I recently move to Edinburgh and I cant wait to explore this stunning city on foot. Find hidden treasures and new spots. I will be putting my journey on Instagram and Facebook. Come follow me and see where I end up. @dancersdisease 

What is Huntington’s Disease?
Huntington's disease is a rare, inherited disease that causes the progressive breakdown (degeneration) of nerve cells in the brain. Huntington's disease has a broad impact on a person's functional abilities and usually results in movement, thinking (cognitive) and psychiatric disorders.
