Dear friends,
Welcome to our Christmas appeal and Gofundme page and thank you for taking the time to visit.
From Co. Kildare, The BIG C CHOIR are a mixed choir who fund raise tirelessly for cancer related charities throughout Ireland.
The choir was founded in 2011 by Christina O' Connell, herself a survivor of breast cancer. "There is great power and healing in music. I experienced this first-hand when I was ill, and this is what inspired me to start the BIG C CHOIR. We started small with just 4 people and now we have over 50 members. Our fundraising concerts are a huge part of what we do. To date, we have proudly raised over €72,000 for cancer related charities including Newbridge Cancer Support Group, St. Brigid's Hospice, Friends of Naas Hospital, St. James Hospital Research, St. James's Hospital Oncology, Crumlin Medical & Research Foundation, St. John's Ward Crumlin, The Jack & Jill Foundation and The Irish Cancer Society".
This recording is the BIG C CHOIR’s Covid Project and, this Christmas, we are delighted to sing in support of Newbridge Cancer Support Group. NCSG are a wonderful local group who offer comfort, support, and different resources to help one through a diagnosis and the treatment that may follow. As self-funding group, NCSG rely greatly on the kindness and generosity of others to allow them to continue with their all-important and life changing work. In these difficult times, now, more than ever, they need your support. Please consider donating to our Gofundme page in support of their wonderful work within the community.
Newbridge Cancer Support Group greatly appreciate all donations as will the many sick people who will benefit from your generosity.
