My name is Stew Greenan.

Im an ex British and Australian Veteran and a Western Australian Paramedic.

I have served in the forces and emergency services for over 30 years. These industries take their tole on an individuals physical and mental health.

I have several coping mechanisms to help me deal with my individual stresses, maintaining a level of fitness and physical health, catching up with colleagues and veterans and speaking to those who truly understand my past.

This year I’m going to challenge myself in a way that I haven’t done since i was a young man in the British Army.

The end of 2024 saw me complete a Half Ironman in 5 hours

For 2025 and my 50th year on the planet!

I’m intending to complete the Busselton T100 in May (I haven’t signed up yet due to injury)

I have signed up for the Backroads (off-road marathon) in August and I’m looking for a sub 4 hour run

To top it all off I have signed up for the Busselton Full Ironman in December. My aim is sub 11 hours

The reason for your donations is to allow veterans to build on the supportive environment they already have at the RSL and to provide the funding necessary for Overwatch Australia who work hard behind the scenes supporting veterans in their hour of need with mental health support
