The Backpack Project is an annual local initiative that provides those in need, with necessities and comfort items on Christmas Day, and throughout the year. This is our 12th year of helping those in our community who live in our communities without shelter or a place to call home.
Your donations will be used to buy tents, sleeping bags, tarps, nonperishable foods, toiletry items and warm outerwear this fall and winter.
Our goal is to purchase these items in order to support the many different local outreach agencies who are helping people everyday on our streets.
By supporting non-profit outreach providers, we will be directly helping a huge population of people who will be experiencing homelessness throughout The Greater Victoria Region this Fall and Winter. Your contributions will help bring warmth and hope and dignity to vulnerable people in your community.
We thank you for supporting our most marginalized community members, with your donations, financial contributions and your continued community advocacy.
