The Baca's China Adopt Fundraiser

Children  are  a  blessing... a  loud,  crazy,  chaotic,
exuberant  blessing.  It  takes  a  lot  of  hard  work,
prayer,  and  endurance  sometimes  to  raise  our
children,  but  it  is so  worthwhile.

We  have  been  on  this  road  twice  before...

Two years ago,  we  brought  our boys, Gabe
and Zach, siblings, home from  China.  They both lost  their  parents
within 3 years of each other, their home, everything,
and  were 7 months away, on Gabe's 14th Birthday,
from aging out and become unadoptable. God led us
to them, and their first full day home was Gabe's 14th

Thirteen  years  ago,  our  family adopted 2 children
from India with medical needs, Thalassemia Major, so we know first hand
how  important  it  is  for  these  children  to know the
love  of  a  family.  Sadly,  our  youngest  son  Sanjay
passed  away,  6 years ago at  the  age of 10,  from a
freak  brain  bleed,  while  he  was  in  the  hospital for
a  BMT  to  try  to  cure  his  Thalassemia  Major.  We
miss  him  every  day,  and  are  SO  glad we listened
to  God's  voice  whispering  to  adopt 2 toddlers from
India.  He  enriched  our  lives  beyond  belief, and he
lived  in  a  family  who  loved  him  dearly  for 8 years
before God called him home...We have a heart for the
orphaned, and God is whispering again,  and there is
little doubt that  adding  Bayley  to our clan will enrich
us all!  The Agency says it should take about 9-12 months
to complete everything and bring her home.

Bayley is an 8  year old girl in China who has mild Cerebral
Palsy and has been in the Orphanage since she was 2 days
old. She has never known the love of a family! We    have
learned    that   there   are   currently   over 4,500   orphans
available   for   international   adoption,  with   over   2,300
of  them  being  in  China.  We   have  room  in  our  home
for  another   bed.  We  have  room in  our  suburban  for
another  seat.  We  have  leftovers after  nearly  every  meal.
We  have  room  in our  hearts to  provide  another  child  with
a  mom,  a  dad,  2   big sisters,  and 3 big brothers...2  of
whom speak  Chinese  and  can  help  her  transition  to  life
in  a  family  in  the USA faster, so we are following a little red
thread to China to bring our daughter home!

This adoption will cost approximately $35,000- $40,000.  The
adoption  process  will take approximately 9-12 months of
agency time, involves two full sets of immigration officials
(one from each country ), agency caseworkers who advocate
for more children than just ours, a local home study agency
who sends a caseworker to our home at least three times,
adoption preparedness training, preparation of countless
certified and notarized official documents, travel agents,
international airfare, hotel stays for a total of two weeks in
two cities, two guides in China to help us be at the right place
at the right time with the right documents, passports, visas, a
donation to the orphanage to help provide for the children who
continue to live there, and multiple post-adoption visits by the
caseworker to make sure that we are all well adjusted.

Our Goal is to be able to travel to bring home Bayley
in October 2018, just 9 months from now, and we need your
help to make that happen! Our first Goal is to raise enough
money to pay the Home study and Dossier fees, which total about
$4200, before March 15th, 2018.That will help us breathe a bit,
because we can then apply for adoption grants. We are saving
every penny we can ourselves to reach our goals, but every single
person who gives, whether it be a little or a lot, is part of our
adoption story, and providing hope to a small girl with special needs in
China, who currently has very little...We appreciate, so very much,
every person who is helping us to make this happen!

To highlight this we are doing an Adoption Puzzle Piece
Blitz...we have 300 puzzle pieces to be claimed for $30
each. The first 300 donations of $30 or more get their name,
or the name of a loved one, on the back of a piece. When
the puzzle pieces are all claimed, I will reveal the puzzle,
and it will be framed in a 2 sided frame for Bayley's room,
showing Bayley just how many people wanted to help give
her a home and family. May God bless you!
