The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre
Hi Everyone,
My name is Natalie Happell and my partner is Coco Boston and Ruby Wolff, and as part of our school community project, we have decided to raise money to purchase food and supermarket vouchers for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC).
The ASRC is Australia’s largest human rights organisation providing support to people seeking asylum. Part of the work they do to support people seeking asylum by having a food bank. When you donate food to the ASRC Foodbank, you’ll make a difference to people seeking asylum by providing one of the most basic human rights – food. ASRC Foodbank currently provides free groceries to around 600 people every fortnight, most of whom have no income and no work rights. Around half of them are children.
We really appreciate your help and donation in supporting our community project, so together we can make a difference for those seeking asylum.
Thank you so much,
Natalie Happell, Coco Boston and Ruby Wolff
