The Anita Laabs Memorial Scholarship

My children and I were witness to the love and enthusiasm which Anita brought into the lives of everyone she met. She brought the same passion and enthusiasm to her middle school students she taught on a daily basis. She motivated, inspired and supported her students both in and outside of the classroom.

In honor of her memory, our family has created a scholarship to financially assist a Mount Horeb graduating senior who intends to pursue a degree in education. We hope that this will allow future educators to continue the same passion for teaching as Anita showed to her middle school students.
