The Allen, Texas chapter of the Young Investors Society (YIS) was founded in 2024 with a mission to equip youth with one of life’s most essential yet often overlooked skills: financial literacy. Our goal is to empower the next generation of investors, critical thinkers, and responsible decision-makers through real-world financial education. We host interactive meetings, hands-on workshops, and enrichment programs designed to make complex financial concepts both understandable and relevant. From budgeting and saving to investing and entrepreneurship, we provide students with the tools they need to build lasting financial confidence. Our chapter also participates in national YIS initiatives such as the Dollar-A-Day Challenge, which teaches students how to build investing habits through small daily contributions, and the Global Stock Pitch Competition, where members analyze real companies and present to industry leaders.

We are currently fundraising to support: Educational workshops, competition registration fees, program materials and resources and academic scholarships for our members.
