The Academy Nine Square Project

Hello, my name is Daniel Gaona, and I am a Boy Scout from Troop 21. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout project!

The Academy of Classical Christian Studies is a classical Christian school with 3 locations in the Oklahoma city-metro area. At the school's North Campus in Edmond, the kids play a game called nine square, a mix between four square and volleyball. To play the game, a pipe and fittings structure is used to separate spaces for each player. The player's job is to hit a four square ball over the pipe structure to get other players out. This game is a lot of fun for everyone. Even the teachers have been seen to play with the students! All in all, nine square is a super fun game.

In the last few years, the old nine square structure is starting to break, bend and warp due to weather and constant use. My Goal is to build and replace the old nine square structure with a new and improved sturdy nine square structure! The new Structure will use galvanized steel piping and fittings, instead of PVC. This will allow the structure to last, and be used for longer.

To build this structure, The Academy needs your help raising money to afford the project! The goal is to raise $1,650 for the pipe and fittings.
