For the past 8 years, we have been distributing backpacks stuffed with school supplies to the under privileged and less fortunate children all across the city of Pittsburgh.

Alot of you reading this right now are well aware of the thousands of backpacks we that have handed out over the years, and I thank you all for your past donations.

To those that may be seeing this for a first time, allow me to explain exactly what it is we do here.

First we take up donations of any kind, rather it be donated through this link, in person, or we even meet people that choose to purchase backpacks and school supplies on their own.

All monetary donations are taken to stores like Walmart where we buy the school supplies such as folders, pencils, notebooks, erasers, scissors, ect,ect , and we then head over to 5 Below in Robinson township where we purchase hundreds of backpacks through our partnership with the store over the years.

Once all the backpacks are filled with the school supplies, we start delivering them to the places that need them the most.

We make stops first at multiple homeless shelters across Pittsburgh that house many children in need. We stop at random youth sporting events to make sure the young athletes and cheerleaders have what they need for the upcoming school year. And we even make stops across the city to families that reach out through Facebook messenger!!

And the best part of it is,, you get to see it all live on Facebook. Everything from your donations, to use purchasing the supplies, ( and showing receipts) to us hand delivering the stuffed backpacks to the neighborhoods that need them the most.

8 years and counting,, and I'm still shocked that we will run out of backpacks before we reach every child in the city that is in need of the tools to have a successful school year.

All I know is that it takes an entire village to raise the little ones,,, and if not us,, then who is going to do it???
