We have a plan!
The 2FM Breakfast 100km for 100k kicks off tomorrow morning (Friday 17th) at 6am. Doireann, Donncha and Carl will attempt to run, walk or crawl 100 kilometres in 12 hours, in the hope of raising €100,000 for Focus Ireland.
We would be truly grateful if you could get behind us. Stay tuned to 2FM Breakfast and to our social media channels for some seriously BRILLIANT prizes that we’ll be giving away as an incentive for you to dig as deep as you can!

The tragedy of what has befallen a small town in Australia hit us hard while on air this morning. Five young children have died in a terrible accident involving a bouncy castle.
Out of respect to that unfolding story, we have postponed the 2FM Breakfast Bounce. We had the bouncy castles lined up and ready to go, but our hearts are not in it.
We have been brainstorming since coming off air and are going to come up with another plan to keep donations going for Focus Ireland. They deserve every cent.

Doireann, Donncha and Carl here. Christmas is fast approaching and although we’re bursting with excitement, there’s a statistic that we can’t get off our minds.
12% of children in families currently supported by Focus Ireland’s Family services are born into homelessness. We want to make a difference by raising vital funds for them this Christmas.
So this Thursday 16th December, we’re doing
*The 2FM Breakfast Bounce*
What does this mean?! At 8.45am Thursday, just before we finish the show, we’ll start bouncing on bouncy castles (yes, we have one each!) right up to 9am on Friday 17th December. So for just over 24 hours, at least one of us must remain bouncing at ALL times. Thank god for Donncha’s calves…
