WHAT’S HAPPENING:

Pattie Gonia is hiking 100 miles in drag over 1 week to raise $1,000,000 for BIPOC + Queer 8 nonprofits & orgs working to make the outdoors/environmental spaces a more equitable place.

HOW IT WORKS:

  • You GET STICKERS in return! We’ll send you a set of Pattie stickers as a thank you.
  • We see how much we can raise TOGETHER from now until Saturday, December 6th.
TO GET YOUR STICKERS:

You will receive two emails after you make your donation:
1) a tax deductible donation receipt will be received immediately after donating
2) an email titled "A thank you note from Pattie" will be received within 4 hours after donating - please click on the form link in this message to give us your mailing address so we can send you stickers!

Here are the non-profits we’re fundraising for! Donations raised will be divided and transferred from GoFundMe.org to the following eight organizations and projects:

1. EASTERN SIERRA CONSERVATION CORP provides trail work opportunities for young adults from BIPOC, Queer and low income communities to experience wilderness and the outdoors by providing transformational experiences. http://www.easternsierracc.org/ IG @easternsierracc


2. THE CHILDREN'S HOME PROJECT brings people and resources together to support and change the lives of children in Honduras, one of the countries hardest hit by climate change, including outdoor programming for their youth. https://www.tchproject.org/ @tchproject


3. BRAVE TRAILS is a leadership summer camp by LGBTQ+ people for LGBTQ+ youth at sites across the nation including California, the North East and Atlanta. https://www.bravetrails.org/ @bravetrails


4. QUEER OUTDOOR EXPEDITION SCHOLARSHIPS supports fully scholarshipped backcountry expeditions for queer people with a focus on those from marginalized socio-economic backgrounds. This program was created by, Pattie Gonia, with the support of Eastern Sierra Conservation Corp & many of our brand partners.

5. OUTDOORIST OATH educates people on how they can advocate for planet, inclusion and adventure through outdoor workshops and community offerings. https://www.outdooristoath.org/ @outdooristoath


6. INTERSECTIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL FILM/MUSIC PROJECT funds a film/musical piece about an area of the climate crisis/solutions with indigenous voices, queer artists and Pattie Gonia herself. This project has and will continue to hire BIPOC + Queer creatives to bring the film to life. @pattiegonia


7. CAMP KITAKI is a summer camp serving youth from across the midwest, especially lower income, Queer and BIPOC youth https://www.ymcacampkitaki.org/ @ymcacampkitaki


8. VAMANOS OUTSIDE connects, engages & inspires Latinx families & youth into the outdoors for all of Central Oregon. https://vamonosoutside.org/ @vamonos_outside
