13 hours. 1,300 swings. 50 kilometers. One mission: mental strength for the next generation.

Hi, I’m Jelena — a former professional tennis player and performance coach currently based in Munich. On September 13th, I’m taking on something bold, raw, and deeply personal:
The 13 Challenge — a 13-hour test of endurance, grit, and purpose to raise funds and awareness for a cause close to my heart.

What is The 13 Challenge?
  • ‍ 50km Run

  • ️ 1,300 Kettlebell Swings

  • 6 Hours of Tennis with the community

All in one day, at M2 Tennis Club in Garching (Munich).

Why I’m Doing This
This isn’t just a physical challenge. It’s a homecoming — and a full-circle moment.
Munich is where my professional tennis journey began at age 11.
Now, once again, 13,000 kilometers away Australia, I’m back — not as a player chasing results, but as a coach trying to give something real back to the sport and community that shaped me.

Through my own journey, I’ve battled performance pressure, identity struggles, anxiety, body image, and burnout. I know what it’s like to feel alone in a competitive world. That’s why this challenge is dedicated to the kids I work with today — to open the conversation on mindset and mental health early.

Because no matter where you are in the world —
you can always find a way to fight for the things you believe in.

The Goal:
To raise funds to host a Mindset & Mental Health Seminar for the kids at M2 Tennis.
A space that goes deeper than trophies or rankings — where we talk about:

  • Emotional resilience

  • Performance pressure

  • Self-worth and identity

  • Tools for real-world mental strength
