Hi my name is Mitch. I’m setting up a fundraiser to help collect enough donations for our annual Thanksgiving meal giveaway.

In the past we were able to provide a complete Thanksgiving meal, to go home, cook and enjoy, to 250 families in need within our community. We would like to try and go beyond that.

This started with a friend Jose out of the back of his car, giving away about 50 turkeys to some families he knew personally. Over the years it grew, and we started to get help by setting up our giveaway outside of and with the help, of our local NYPD precinct.

We always get a little monetary help from our local businesses as well. Unfortunately, with the prices the way they are today, with our older business partners no longer around we are having a harder time than usual with the cost and time is really close (Giveaway is done in November a week before Thanksgiving)

We are just two blue collar, neighborhood guys with our wives Fran and Marisa, that try out best to help others, but it just keeps getting harder each year.

Our goal is to be able to raise enough money to provide more than the 250 meals for families to have a good Thanksgiving

The amount I am putting down as a goal is what we will need to provide the items for 250 meals, if we are able to surpass our goal then it will be used to purchase more.
