A Thanksgiving Day Celebration for Our Seniors
Metro-West Building Officials is starting an endeavor that is close to my heart and I’m hoping to be close to yours as well.
As the holiday season approaches, many of our senior citizens may not have the means to provide a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for themselves with your help they can.
Our goal is to provide our seniors a joyous holiday meal with kindness and dignity.
Your contribution will help us provide a sit-down Thanksgiving dinner to seniors, age 60 and older from our local communities.
We’re reaching out to our network of community leaders, families, companies, and organizations who feel invested in this cause and are able to help us with a donation at this time.
Dinner will be held at the Grafton Senior Center on Thanksgiving Day November 23, 2023 Seniors from the local communities of Grafton, Millbury, Northborough, Northbridge, Sutton, and Upton are welcome.
We are now pleased to announce that we will have live entertainment, including a three-piece jazz saxophone band, to close the night with a Frank Sinatra performer.
If you are interested in participating, volunteering or attending this event, please contact Shannon Smith, the Grafton COA Director, to reserve your seat. If you need special accommodations, please let us know so we can attempt to make everyone as comfortable as possible.
